Dalhousie Holdings Limited - Executor & Trusteeship Services
Dalhousie Holdings Limited (“DHL”) is one of India’s oldest trusteeship and fiduciary services companies, established in 1946. For nearly eight decades, DHL has been engaged in providing professional trusteeship, executorship, estate administration, and related fiduciary services to individuals, families, corporates, and institutions across India and abroad.
DHL was incorporated by British solicitors and is the only surviving private “Guarantee Society” company registered in the Rules of the High Court at Calcutta (Original Side), 1914, and has been Executor/ Trustee in several estates, mostly comprising the erstwhile British citizens. We have served numerous prestigious clients, including corporations and individuals.
We continue to offer legacy resolutions to historical shareholders of Indian companies residing overseas and our team comprises experienced professionals with backgrounds in law, accountancy, taxation, and compliance. Their expertise ensures a holistic approach to trusteeship matters; covering legal, financial, and administrative aspects of trust and estate management.
Legacy and Experience
Incorporated in the pre-independence era, DHL has consistently upheld the principles of integrity, accountability, and prudence in administering trusts and estates.
Over the years, DHL has served as trustee and executor in a diverse range of matters, including private family trusts, charitable and religious trusts, testamentary trusts, debenture trusteeships, and estate settlements.
Our longstanding relationships with settlors, beneficiaries, regulators, and financial institutions reflect our credibility and standing in the industry.

All adults should have a will. This might be simply to ensure peace of mind that your assets will pass to the people that you want them to, at the appropriate time. It may also be to cover something as important as appointing guardians for young children if you were no longer there.
However, as we work primarily with wealthy families, we recognise the myriad of questions and considerations that matter when deciding how your wealth will be distributed after you die, whether that might be protecting your assets for your bloodline, to looking to maximise the value passing to your chosen beneficiaries.
Rather than simply converting your wishes into a legal document, we will work with you to work out the best structure for your will on the basis of your wishes and your individual circumstances.
Protected, secure, tax-efficient.
A family trust is a way to set aside significant assets for loved ones on your terms.
